FRAMINGHAM, Mass., June 30, 2022– In the aftermath of recent school safety events and concerning new active shooter statistics from the FBI, Rave Mobile Safety (Rave), is underscoring the importance of public safety incident-sharing, collaboration, awareness, and notification. Rave, provider of the critical communication and collaboration platform that federal, national, and local government agencies; corporations; educational institutions; and healthcare organizations count on when it matters most, launched Rave Link in early 2022 so that 9-1-1 and first responder customers have a tool that more easily detects dangerous situations in proximity to critical facilities including schools, utility plants, and government buildings. Rules can be configured for any number of situations, including police pursuits, suspicious persons, hazmat incidents, civil disturbances, armed robberies, missing person searches, and other concerning incidents.

Nearly 50 agencies helped to refine the value of the cloud-based data aggregation platform with secure and interoperable features so that different authorities in different jurisdictions, utilizing different CAD platforms can intelligently share CAD incidents, collaborative workflows, and notifications across agency boundaries to reduce response time, enhance responder safety, and improve emergency response results.

  • Reduce time transferring calls and sharing incident data between agencies
  • Optimize system interoperability and decrease time spent on manual entry processes
  • Deliver call-out notifications via SMS, voice, email, and other applications based on predefined parameters associated with CAD incident data
  • Expand or establish alternate dispatch workflows for sensitive mental health or domestic violence incidents
  • Cost-effectively utilize cloud-based hosting features with each public safety agency managing a single secure connection to a data hub instead of fragile CAD-to-CAD integrations
  • Incident-sharing between 9-1-1 and 988

Critical emergency response has been traditionally hampered by the use of different CAD systems and versions with disparate data definitions. This lack of compatibility and interoperability limits visibility and capabilities across agencies.
