Why should I and/or representatives from my organization attend the Rave User Summit?
Rave’s annual User Summit is the premier event for Rave customers. Attendees will be exposed to new product features and have an opportunity to provide input into future concepts. Additionally, attendees will have an opportunity to learn and share industry and product best practices formally through customer-led sessions and also informally through networking opportunities and receptions. Finally, attendees can dig deeper into how to leverage their Rave solutions with a product guru through one on one coaching and also attend hands-on training sessions.
When and where is the 2018 Rave User Summit being held?
Rave will be hosting its annual User Summit in downtown Denver, Colorado from Monday, April 16 through Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Attendees should plan to arrive in time for optional product training (for both the Rave 911 Suite and Rave Alert) on Monday afternoon and our welcome reception for all attendees that same evening. The program will conclude by 4:30pm on Wednesday.
Okay, I’m convinced. How to I register for the Summit?
Online registration is available through the Registration section of www.ravesummit.com. Don’t delay…the advanced registration rate of $291 (a $131 discount per attendee) expires on January 31, 2018 and registration closes on March 31, 2018. Click here to secure your spot!
What’s included in Summit registration?
The Summit registration fee includes all programming – training, product sessions, best practices and industry sessions, and access to Rave product gurus’ one on one coaching. Additionally, continental breakfast, lunch and snack breaks will be provided on Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as two evening receptions, including networking, food and drink, on Monday and Tuesday. All attendees will receive a welcome bag and gift and also information from our sponsors, and opportunities to win some really cool raffle and contest prizes.
I’m sold on attending the Summit, but I have to convince my boss / agency / organization. Can you help with that?
We thought you’d never ask…of course we can! In order to assist you with justifying your attendance at the Rave User Summit, we have prepared a template justification letter and anticipated budget that you can modify and provide to your decision makers.
A copy of the attendee justification letter can be downloaded here.
I’m a vegetarian / vegan / require a Gluten free diet / have food allergies. Will there be meal options for me?
During registration, you will have an opportunity to communicate specific dietary needs or other special accommodations that you might require in Denver. Additionally, feel free to drop us an email at email@example.com if you have questions or additional needs.
How do I reserve my hotel room and is the discounted rate available for additional nights?
Rave’s room block at the Grand Hyatt Denver, our Summit host facility, is officially open. As soon as you register for the Summit, we encourage you to book your hotel room, as the discounted rate of $274 per night (including tax) is subject to availability. Rave has negotiated this discounted rate for the nights of Friday, April 13, 2018 through Thursday April 19, so that our customers can take advantage of all that Denver and Colorado have to offer. Again, this rate is subject to hotel availability, so don’t delay in booking your room!

What attire is appropriate for the Summit, and what’s the weather like in Denver in April?
Business casual attire is suggested for the Summit sessions and casual attire is recommended for evening activities. Stay tuned for more information about a “wear your agency/organization’s logo” day and also a theme for our Tuesday night reception. More than anything, we want attendees to be comfortable.
Denver enjoys a moderate climate. The average high temperature is 61° F / 16° C, with the low averaging 34° F / 1° C. Precipitation, even a bit in the form of snow, can also be expected. Be sure to check the weather about a week out and be sure to pack layers so that you are prepared.
Another important consideration is the altitude of the Mile High City. Plan to hydrate extra in the days leading up to your departure and also while you are in Denver. Keep in mind that the altitude will also impact physical activity, your tolerance to alcohol and your overall energy. It is not uncommon to experience a mild headache for the first day at altitude, but drinking plenty of water will go a long way towards helping!
What’s the best way for me to travel between the hotel and Denver International Airport?
The Denver International Airport is 27 miles or 35 – 40 minutes from downtown Denver. We suggest either using a ride share app, such as Lyft or Uber, or using Denver’s new A Line train, which takes about 37 minutes from the airport to a stop near the hotel downtown.
Unless you have plans to explore outside of downtown Denver, it’s not necessary to rent a car.
