Michigan Smart911 Resource Page

state of Michigan sealOver the past 9 months, the State of Michigan has led the way in deploying advanced safety services for residents with lifesaving results.

Read below to see some of the ways Smart911 has enhanced the safety of the over 1 million Michiganders living in areas that have already deployed the life-saving service.

– Life-saving data has already been delivered by Smart911 on over 9,000 calls, saving precious time in emergencies and saving lives.

– Over 6,400 text messaging sessions with 9-1-1 have been had via Smart911, helping communicate with callers who cannot speak due to disability, poor cellular coverage or domestic violence.  Sessions with users who inadvertently dialed 9-1-1 but did not answer a voice call back from emergency services, saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in unnecessary dispatches.

– Dozens of schools have already leveraged Smart911’s unique ability to integrate data into 9-1-1 to deploy low cost smartphone enabled Panic Buttons to teachers and administrators that speed responses to school incidents.
