Rave Mobile Safety Winner of 21st Century Achievement
Rave Mobile Safety is proud to receive the prestigious 2010 IDG’s Computerworld Laureate, Finalist and 21st Century Achievement Awards.
Rave Mobile Safety in Framingham, MA – founded in 2004 – changed the way information is delivered by universities and colleges through a SaaS-based alert system that is used to quickly notify students, faculty and staff of everything from emergencies to routine announcements. The messages are sent via text messages, voice mail and even via social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
Students rely heavily on text messaging for communication, but universities long had no way to reach them in their preferred manner, said Raju Rishi, Rave Mobile Safety founder and chief strategy officer.
“There was no way to get critical messages to students when they need it,” said Rishi. His company was the top Computerworld Honors award winner in the business and related services category.”
