FRAMINGHAM, Mass., Dec. 1, 2015 — There are more than half a million people in the U.S. suffering from kidney failure, many of whom must undergo regular treatments such as dialysis, which can cause serious medical complications. To assist individuals affected by kidney disease Smart911, the life-saving, national safety service that gives 9-1-1 extra intelligence when responding to an emergency, has partnered with the American Association of Kidney Patients (AAKP).
