Rave Mobile Safety (Rave), a trusted partner for safety software protecting millions of individuals, announced that the Rave Alert emergency notification system was utilized by hundreds of customers across the country to successfully deliver over 2 million messages as part of the 9th annual Great ShakeOut earthquake drill on Thursday, October 20th.

The annual Great ShakeOut earthquake drill on October 20 involved millions of people across the country practicing “Drop, Cover and Hold On,” the earthquake safety protocol recommended by experts as essential for avoiding injury and even death during earthquakes (see www.ShakeOut.org/dropcoverhldon).
The drill provided Rave customers with a great opportunity to practice immediately messaging large numbers of users across multiple modes of communication, including text messages, voice messages, email, RSS feeds, CAP / IPAWs, social media and other modes.
