Guardian is an opt-in program.
Students are able to manage and update their own profile via one simple website. Those that do can add medical or personal information with confidence knowing their private data is stored securely and only exposed to police and first responders when urgent help is requested.
Of 1,700 students surveyed at a "very safe" campus:
93% - would use it
30% - would use it regularly
Rave Guardian clients have a 44% opt-in rate and fewer that 1 in 1,000 registered students false alarm the system in a given month.
