Rave Wireless Expands Reach with Sybase 365 Through Increased Product Integration

Sybase 365 Enables Multimedia Messaging (MMS) and Global SMS Messaging for Rave Alert Multimodal Emergency Notification System
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – CTIA WIRELESS 2009 – APRIL 1, 2009 – Rave Wireless, Inc., the leading provider of highly reliable and innovative safety applications for mobile users, and Sybase 365, a subsidiary of Sybase, Inc. (NYSE: SY), the global leader in mobile messaging services, today announced expansion of their partnership. The new agreement builds upon the companies’ multi-year relationship through initiatives including: additional technical integration to add MMS (photo and video messaging) to the Rave Alert multimodal notification system and global SMS messaging services to deliver emergency alerts to mobile users outside of the U.S.

Data from more than 100 customers using Rave Alert indicates that Rave’s emergency notification system is achieving exceptional performance in the marketplace. Rave achieved these performance levels through a series of software and infrastructure upgrades to its fully-hosted, software-as-a-service solution, as well as strong relationships with key partners such as Sybase 365.
