Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Award
Montclair State University has won the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Award for its implementation of Rave Guardian, the only mobile safety product that transforms a users phone into a personal safety device.

With over 2,500 entrants from companies nationwide, Rave Guardian was selected as a finalist for the 2009 Stevie Product of the Year Award.
Campus Technology Innovators Award 2007
Montclair State University has won the 2007 Campus Technology Innovators Award from Campus Technology Magazine for developing and launching an innovative mobile phone program with Rave Mobile Safety.

Tom Axbey Chief Executive Officer
Recognized software industry veteran, Tom Axbey, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Rave Mobile Safety. Prior to joining Rave, Axbey was the Senior Vice President/General Manager of Micromuse, a provider of business-critical software to telecommunications, finance, and public sector clients. Micromuse was acquired by IBM, where Axbey led the successful integration and subsequent growth of the IBM Tivoli/Netcool business.
Before Micromuse/IBM, Tom was the senior vice president of worldwide operations at Quallaby from its inception. Axbey also served as the vice president of marketing and business development at American Internet and spearheaded the business partnership with Cisco that resulted in the subsequent acquisition.
Raju Rishi Chief Strategy Officer, Co-Founder
Raju Rishi oversees strategy and marketing for Rave Mobile Safety. Raju leverages his knowledge of the complex relationships between wireless carriers, content providers, application providers and consumers gained over a career in telecommunications.
His previous experiences include EVP Product Management & Strategy of Vettro and executive roles at Avaya/Lucent/AT&T, where he was responsible for architecture, international R&D, product management, sales, and marketing for mobility & IP products.
Raju is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and four children.
Todd Piett Chief Product Officer
Prior to joining Rave, Todd was responsible for launching new products for Unica Corporation where he helped drive revenue from $30m to $70m and their successful IPO. Previously, Todd was VP of Product and Marketing for iBelong, a portal provider targeting affinity organizations and a Program Manager at Dell Computer where he launched Dell's branded ISP and grew it to $40 million in revenue.
Todd graduated with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds a MBA from Harvard Business School. After graduation from West Point he served 7 years in the US Army as an aviation officer.
Todd Miller Vice President, Sales & Operations
Todd Miller joined Rave Mobile Safety in February of 2007 and is responsible for the Sales & Operations departments. Todd manages Rave's sales efforts, Professional Services and Customer Support teams.
Most recently, Todd managed the self-service consulting Practice at Oracle where he was responsible for the delivery of customized software solutions for clients in North America, supporting millions of users. At Oracle he was awarded recognition as a member of Oracle's top 10% in Consulting. Prior to that, Todd led consulting teams for Siebel and edocs in North America, Europe, and Australia.
Todd is a graduate of Babson College.
Jenna Keith Vice President, Finance & Administration
Jenna joined Rave in April 2008 and assumed the position of Vice President of Finance and Administration in May 2009.
Before joining Rave, Jenna was Controller at Archivas, Inc., a venture-backed storage software company where she was responsible for company-wide accounting operations. Archivas was acquired by Hitachi Data Systems in February 2007.
Prior to Archivas, Jenna was Revenue Controller at IMlogic, Inc., which was acquired by Symantec in February 2006. Earlier in her career, Jenna held various financial positions at StorageNetworks, Inc. and Ernst & Young.
Jenna holds a Bachelor’s Degree from College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA.

Shikhar Ghosh Chairman of the Board
Shikhar Ghosh is the MBA Class of 1961 Senior Lecturer in the Entrepreneurial Management Unit. He will be teaching The Entrepreneurial Manager (TEM) in the Winter Term of the 20010/11 academic year. Shikhar has been a successful entrepreneur for the last 20 years. He has been the founder and CEO or Chairman of eight technology-based entrepreneurial companies and was the past Chairman of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council ( MTLC) and The Indus Entrepreneurs ( TIE) - two leading entrepreneurial organizations. He was selected by Business Week as one of the best Entrepreneurs in the US, Forbes as one of the ‘Masters of the Internet Universe’ and Fortune as the CEO of one of the 10 most innovative companies in the US. Companies he founded were selected as both the ‘hottest’ and ‘coolest’ emerging companies by business publications.
Bob Davoli General Partner, Sigma Partners
Most recently Bob was President & CEO of Epoch Systems, the leading vendor of client-server data management software products. He sold the firm in 1993 to EMC for $141 million. Previously, he was the Founder, President and CEO of SQL Solutions, a leading purveyor of services and tools for the relational database market. Bob sold SQL Solutions to Sybase for stock eventually worth over $100 million. Bob served as an executive officer of Sybase for over two years.
In recent years, Bob has appeared three times on the Forbes’ Midas list, a ranking of top venture capitalists. He also appeared on the cover of Business Week in a features story describing how VCs thrive through good and tough times.
Ajay Agarwal Managing Director, Bain Capital Ventures
Mr. Agarwal joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2003, and he focuses on early stage mobile, internet, and software investments. Prior to Bain Capital Ventures, Mr. Agarwal spent over seven years as a senior executive at Trilogy Software, a privately-held enterprise software company based in Austin, Texas. As head of sales and marketing, he grew Trilogy’s annual revenues to $300 million and led Trilogy’s product expansion into new areas such as enterprise pricing and enterprise incentive management. Prior to Trilogy, Mr. Agarwal was a consultant with the Los Angeles office of McKinsey & Company.
