On June 23rd the annual Campus Safety Round Table Webinar took place. The conversation included viewpoints from various campus leaders, including a University President (Donna Shalala of Miami University), VP for Student Affairs (J.D. Carpenter of West Liberty University), and Head of Emergency Preparedness (Steve Broccolo of Kansas State University). These leaders discussed the pros and cons of current safety solutions, overcoming implementation hurdles and developing their campus safety road map.
